Job details: Apple seeks a Global Supply Manager with relevant experience in managing, sourcing, and manufacturing camera module assemblies. Responsibilities include:
Develops strategic sourcing direction to appropriately leverage the integrated camera module supply chain.
Leads all supplier sourcing/selection activities and successfully manages the supplier partnership at a senior level.
Implements procurement and inventory strategies, policies, procedures and systems.
Owns cost negotiations and is responsible for final resolution of all contractual agreements.
Successfully interacts with cross-functional Engineering partners to ensure that supply base partners meet technical requirements and specifications.
Responsible for ensuring that suppliers execute and deliver from new product introduction to high volume manufacturing, and drives end of life management to eliminate excess and obsolesence.
Leads presentations to senior management teams both internally and externally.
BA degree in Business and/or BS in Engineering.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment with minimal direction as a key change agent.
Strong leadership skills and ability to assume leadership role with cross-functional peers.
Short learning curve and ability to quickly develop expertise in emerging technologies. Expertise in camera-related technologies preferred.
Expertise in procurement principles and strong negotiation/contract skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high analytic ability.
Ability to make decisions quickly and multi-task successfully.
Strong project management experience.
Commitment to excellence in execution.
International travel required periodically (20% travel)
