Job Description:

The CG Layout Artist is the DP on a CG animated film and is responsible for translating sequences from Storyboard to Digital Film Cameras. Must have excellent perspective & composition skills both in 2D and 3D. Must be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Art Director to set dress shots, tighten up the cameras and supervise all shots from character animation through lighting. Provide artistic leadership and sound solutions to each CG team.

Education, Experience and Skills:

- Experience on CGI feature pipeline
- Knowledge of camera composition and spatial perception of objects in 3D space
- Use of a 3D software package a must - Especially Autodesk Maya.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with a masterful attention to detail.
