Job details: Job Description: Responsible for defining AUDIO segment sales and marketing strategy in close cooperation with Head of Audio (Pro Market), communicating strategy to both internal and external stakeholders and for developing and executing tactical plans for AUDIO Segment across Europe in close cooperation with local Business Development resources.
The job holder will be responsible for helping define growth goals for the segment and ensuring that the sales organization focuses on executing agreed programs to achieve these targets. This role requires an experienced individual with background and deep knowledge in one or more of the segments covered. The role also includes frequent interaction with customers and resellers.
Key accountabilities:
Working closely with the Head of Audio to develop a yearly business plan for segment including solutions to focus on, distribution channel and direct mix, programs and budgets. This will be developed in close cooperation with other segments to align with global company objectives.
Assist Head of Audio in defining the quarterly/yearly targets/goals for the Segment.
Work closely with US counterparts in WW AUDIO segment team and leverage their efforts both strategically and tactically
Responsible for technical skills within the local teams
Work closely with country BDMs and Regional Sales Directors on plans and implementation in local markets
Provide updates to the country BDMs and Technical consultants on key third party solutions for the audio segment.
Work with 3rd party vendors relevant for the AUDIO segment at a European level to build relevant and effective solutions/programs and ensure that this work is replicated at local level.
Work closely with the Product marketing function leveraging horizontal/generic programs and ensuring that planned programs and activities leverage overall Apple activities
Coordinate and share best practices across Europe to leverage sales efforts across regions
Work with both central and local sales team to define customer targets and activities to incorporate into overall business plan including programs execution and demand generation across all routes to market as well as education.
Work with PR and Marcom team to ensure that segment specific messaging in created and relayed also ensure that local web reflects the local solutions.
Manage assigned budget and ensure optimal ROI tracking.
Report regularly segment status, including Hardware and BtB sales, proportion of direct sales, Channel and Customer metrics
Support analyst and PR activities as needed.
Key Competencies
Understanding of modern digital audio production techniques (Music, Film, TV, Web, Radio, etc.)
Experience in sales channel and distributor management and development.
Project management (over long and short term)
Creative, solutions-focused outlook
