Job details: Lecturer Required for Game Programming courseAn education institution in Chennai, India is seeking experienced lecturers in Programming for Games programs. The successful applicants should hold Bachelor qualifications in animation or games programming or a related field, have at least 4 years industry experience and a high level of written and verbal communication skills.Must have skills and knowledge are:
- Sound knowledge of animation history and principles
- Experience producing storyboards and/or animatics
- High level drawing skills
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- 3D Animator with good modeling skills, particularly in character animation. Must know 3D Studio Max. Games experience preferred. Excellent drawing skills.
- 2D animator with good character illustration skills. Must know Flash. Experience producing storyboards and animatics. Experience working in animation series is ideal.
- Games Programmer. Several years experience programming in games - the more the better.
- Fluent in C/C++
- Experience in Games System Design and Engine Development
- Experience in AI and Agent Systems
- Experience in Applications Development / Console Games Development
- Proficient in object-oriented programming techniques. All Applicants should have at least 1 high-profile, successful completed project.Attributes that would be highly regarded include:

The use of scripts, storyboards and animatics for different purposes and outcomes will also be examined and applied.Trimester 1 - year 1Games Systems Design Games Systems Design covers a range of industry-standard design techniques, which can be applied throughout a software development project at varying levels of abstraction.Object Orientated ProgrammingIn this course, students are introduced to programming fundamentals for computer applications.
