Team Bondi is looking for Senior Character Artist
Job details: Team Bondi is an independent game development company based in Sydney, Australia. Headed up by Brendan McNamara and featuring a team of seasoned games professionals, Team Bondi will produce next-generation console titles. The current title in development, L.A. Noire is a re-creation of a 194o\'s detective thriller as a game and is being published by Rockstar Games: www.rockstargames.com/lanoire
We are currently looking for a talented Senior Character Artist who will work with the Lead Animator to produce high quality characters for the project.

Responsibilities:
• Working directly with Lead Animator to oversee the character production pipeline
• Offering guidance and mentoring for junior to mid level character artists
• Work with scanned data to produce realistic characters for next gen development
• Scheduling the team to ensure characters are delivered for milestones
• Provide regular feedback for the team from the Game Director
• Maintains vision and quality of the team
Requirements: Required Experience:
• Proficient with edge loops and latest polygon construction methods
• High levels of technical competency in Maya, Photoshop and Zbrush
• Understands the technical limitations of character modelling within a development environment
• Experience of character pipelines and efficient memory management of UVs, textures,and vertices
• Experience of working with in house tools and console development process
• Understanding of character preparation from modelling, rigging and skinning for animation
• Experience with sub skeletons and set driven keys for quality deformation of characters
• Can produce high quality realistic character models within strict budgets and limitations
Required Qualification:
• Accomplished senior character modeller with experience of mentoring a team through at least one AAA title
• Excellent problem solver who can focus on detail, while maintaining the whole picture
• Ability to work with a range of disciplines including Art, Programming, Design and Production
