Hi everyone!
First of all, I'm new here. oh I just discovered I don't even have a avatar yet
GREAT! now I got that out of my way.
We can start with the mean topic here.
I'm a graduated as a 3D animator and Game designer (how fancy, I know).
I know as everyone, that is is difficult coming up with (new-) ideas for a 3D animated short. Or an idea for some cool artwork.
I'm curious about you guys and how you come up with idea's
We all might benifit from it all and tell what make our creative minds go tick.

Read books. Find some ideas that are worth spreading.
Write a script. Show to friends and ask for opinion.
Remove all that is not necessary. Start creating

I can't just force myself to have an idea
I usually have some piece and silence and need to relax, listen some music, maybe just go for a walk. Sometimes I see something that brings ideas, a fragment of movie, some situation on the street or simple thing like interesting tree and it just comes

Hello there Z3ijd!
In my opinion, you will think of a subject or a scenario that is mainly your interest. That is important for you to put your heart and mind out to that subject. Also, it will give you more room for new ideas. Your work will need some adjustments as you go on with your project, so it is important that you love what you are doing in the first place.
