Capilano University - China Partners Program is looking for Maya Animation Instructor - Capilano University (Harbin, China)

Starting Date: Fall 2010, duration - 4 months and possible spring term

Job details: Working with other Capilano faculty and Harbin University
faculty, the successful applicant will teach 3D animation
courses to Chinese students in Harbin, China. Excellent remuneration, return flight, comfortable western standard accommodation.

Requirements: • Diploma in 3D Animation
• Related industry experience
• Competence using Autodesk/Alias Maya and Adobe
Photoshop
• Strong drawing and design skills
• Teaching and/or directing experience an asset
• Understanding and respect towards foreign customs and
culture, including openness and sensitivity to cultural
differences
• Ability to work as a committed team player with other
instructors and Chinese colleagues
• Flexibility and willingness to adjust work times if necessary
• Adaptability to local living conditions
• Ability to adjust to a variety of work circumstances
• A passion of working with individuals for whom English is
not a first language
