I don't really know anything about 3d modelling. I am willing to learn though.
I need to be able to create an anime styled 3d model that can later easily be posed in some program. I don't care if the skeleton/whatever controls the posing is made by someone else. Posing has to be "realistic" if possible, so the model needs to have "bones" not made out of rubber.
I'm not going to release the models anywhere, I just need them for something. It doesn't need to be animated, just posed. It doesn't matter if it can be put into some game or not.
Does anyone have any ideas how to start and what programs would best suit my needs? I'm planning to use some tutorials about 3d anime modeling and then find a way to put it into some posing program.
