yU+co. (Hollywood) is looking for Senior Maya Particle / Dynamics Artist

Starting Date: Immediate , duration - through 2011

Job details: Summary:
Must be able to work onsite in our Hollywood office
Ideal candidates should be extremely knowledgeable of Maya’s particle engine as well as have a broad based understanding of Maya’s underlying fundamentals. Applicants must be able to perform at a consistently high artistic level in a fast paced production environment.
Need Dust, Flames, Sand, Gun, Bullet, tracers, Gun smoke, etc...


Requirements: Requirements:
- A Minimum of 3 years vfx experience working on episodic television and/or feature films.
- Expert Level knowledge of Maya Particles/Fluids
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
- Comfortable with firm deadlines
- Creative problem solving skills
- Comfortable creating elements for both full CG and live action shots
- Generalist 3D skills are a big bonus


Location: Must be able to work onsite in our Hollywood office.
