Hey, all. I'm new around these parts so I must apologize if this has come up before. I have searched a few different ways and not been able to find anything.
I am using 3ds max 2010.
I have modeled a monkey in a traditional t-pose for a game. The game requires that the monkey move both as a biped and a quadruped. Is it possible to bone and rig a T-pose so that a transition to a quadruped-like movement is possible without breaking the skin. I have been told no by the animator, but this doesn't seem correct based on what I seen in other places. Does anyone have any tips or tricks? Should I have modeled it as a quadruped and tried to transition that to biped? The monkey will need to go through a whole range of motions and be extremely flexible.
Thanks all, I appreciate your time!
