3D modeller wanted for help with art project (maya, autocad)

Hi, I'm an artist working in photography and video. I would like to have a 3d model of a simple hanging chain (for example see image attached) that can be modified in terms of its length and the positions of its end links, and yet remain mathematically accurate according to gravity.

I'm not sure if this is even possible! I have access to Maya and Autocad so the model would preferably be editable in one of these.

I can't pay for this but will offer some signed original artwork for someone who can help me! It may be valuable one day, one never knows!
