Big Viking Games is looking for 3D Artist
Starting Date: Immediatly, duration - Full Time
Job details: Big Viking Games is looking for an experienced and skilled 3D artist with a variety of talents to work on new mobile titles. Artists will be expected to apply their skills in a wide variety of ways, depending on the day-to-day needs of these projects. To succeed at Big Viking Games you have to be incredibly versatile and able to handle a variety of tasks. Our artists are responsible for creating immersive characters and environments for our mobile title and you will work closely with our developers to design game play from start to finish. We're interested in applicants who share an equal passion for art and games.
Requirements: Requirements
- B.S. in design, multimedia or equivalent experience
- Strong portfolio exhibiting a solid understanding of art fundamentals across both 2D and 3D disciplines
- 3+ years of game industry experience with mobile experience an asset
- Solid modelling skills with Maya or 3D Max (character, building environment and environment properties)
- Strong knowledge in 3D lighting and rendering in Maya or 3D Max
- Proficient in industry standard 2D and 3D software
- Basic knowledge in rigging and 3D animation
- 3D effects and particle system will be an additional asset
- Humble team player with the ability to take direction and work towards a common goal.
