Crazy Legs Productions is looking for a Mid-level 3D Artist for its growing slate of animated projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for creating CG background and special effects shots
Ability to match-moving CG cameras and elements to live action footage
Provides visually creative and timely solutions to directors
Providing 3D render layers for compositors
Communicates with other VFX staff and departments on status of composite work
Able to manage time effectively and give accurate assessments of the workload and the time required to complete tasks
Qualifications
3+ years professional experience in Maya (V-Ray or mental ray preferred), After Effects, and Photoshop. Experience with other 3D software and programming skills are advantageous
Strong skills in lighting, texturing and efficient rendering
Proficiency in film and video standards, and video and graphics formats
Must be highly organized, and have the ability to juggle several tasks at once in a highly efficient manner
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
You will be required to work to tight deadlines, be very organized and need to have a positive hardworking attitude.
Flexible working hours may be a part of the job requirement.
