Post subject: 3D Character Modeler needed for children's cartoon series
I am currently developing a 3D animated children's cartoon series. I have character concepts, sketches and 2D designs, along with character biographies and story treatments.
I am in need of a modeler to create 3D character models of the main characters, with the aim of developing a proof of concept animated episode.
Texturing skills is preferred, but not essential.
Rigging skills is a big plus, but not essential.
Animation work will be required for the long run, of course, but at this stage the 3D models need to be created first.
Models will need to be compatible with Maya 2013.
I can provide a few character concepts for you to get an idea of the style and complexity that will be required.
There is scope to join an ongoing team or offer freelance work on a short-term basis.
Work will have to be unpaid to begin with during the proof of concept stage, but there will be scope for further paid work once the series is established.
