Hey there.
I am trying to become a 3D Modeler (still I beginner though), and I am having trouble finding a good way to create holes and generally some time of shape that must be "Booled" from the original geometry.
I am trying to model a remote control.
This one to be exact :
I've managed to do the base by creating a cube and then adding and modifying edges and points to get the proper shape, then subdividing it.(Check the images too see how the remote, and its topology look right now)
I now want to create a couple of holes on the front of the remote, and also bool out a kind of a 'plus' shaped form where the navigation buttons are. (Check the original remote)
Can anyone give me some guidance on how I can achieve something like this ? I am using Cinema 4D btw.

Or add more edge loops to the base mesh so that you have enough edges around the buttons, and actually model the holes.
Extrude them into the mesh.
